International CSA MarineBiotech Final Conference

The international CSA MarineBiotech conference will bring together scientists, industry representatives, policy makers/advisors and other key stakeholders involved or interested in Marine Biotechnology research in Europe, to

Discuss the status and progress in the support and coordinating of marine biotechnology research in Europe

Present and discuss some of the most critical issues and policy, scientific and industry perspectives at various levels (Pan-European, macro-regional, national, sub-national regional)
Provide insight into some of the most important recent and ongoing European Marine Biotechnology research projects and initiatives at pan-European, regional and national level and gather lessons learned for the road ahead.
The conference will also present the outcomes of the CSA MarineBiotech project and look forward towards the MARINEBIOTECH ERA-NET which will start later in 2013 or early 2014 (if awarded).
Location and date
The conference will take place in the centre of Brussels, at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Sciences and the Arts (KVAB), starting at 13 pm on Monday 11th March and finishing at 18 pm on Tuesday 12th March 2013. The Academy is situated to the left from the Royal Palace, across Hertogsstraat
